Jay T. Clark
Jay T. Clark is the President and CEO of Southeast Capital Partners and is known as an expert in the multi-family marketplace throughout the Southeast. Since 1989, Mr. Clark has underwritten and sold more than $1.8 billion in apartments. Including current projects, he has been the General Partner on over $300 million of primarily multi-family acquisitions and developments. His experience includes property management, finance, acquisition, construction, development, redevelopment and marketing. Since April 2000, Mr. Clark has been exclusively focused on SECP after successfully selling his real estate brokerage operation. Mr. Clark's combined experience in development, brokerage and property management provides him with the ability to address both the short and long term goals for a successful development. He focuses on the real estate development and redevelopment process and is an expert in community and site identification. He attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he received a degree in Business Administration and was certified as a Certified Public Accountant in 1986 Mr. Clark is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Georgia and is a member of the National Multi-Family Housing Council. He serves as a board member of various local Atlanta charities.




Daniel T. Lussier
Daniel T. Lussier (Managing Director) has served in a senior executive capacity over the past 20 years and has built a diverse background with an exceptional foundation in corporate management. With a wide range of experience in large and small, public and private companies, Mr. Lussier brings a focused approach to financial and operations management, as well as organization and strategic leadership. He has negotiated in excess of $2 Billion through private, institutional and capital markets; developed over 50 commercial and residential real estate projects; served on the Board of Directors for six different companies; is experienced in multi-state and international markets; and has been intimately involved in the construction, project, facility, and asset management for millions-of-square-feet of space. Mr. Lussier received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois. He also served as a Certified Public Accountant.




Scott J. Levitt
Scott J. Levitt (Partner) has worked in the real estate industry since 1992 and has a broad range of experience, including acquisition, development, finance, disposition and appraisal/consulting. From 1996 – 2006, Mr. Levitt was a senior member of the investment and development team at Lane Company, one of the largest multifamily investment, development and management companies in the Southeast. While at Lane, he was responsible for the acquisition/development of 23 properties throughout the Southeast with an aggregate purchase price/development cost totaling over $400 million. In addition, during his tenure at Lane, he was responsible for over $550 million in financings and $200 million in dispositions. At Southeast Capital Partners, his primary role is sourcing and structuring investment opportunities for the firm; however, his breadth of experience makes him an invaluable member of the senior management team throughout the life cycle of each investment. He received a bachelor's degree in U.S. history from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia and is a licensed real estate broker in Georgia.




Hugh L. Nelson, CPA
Hugh L. Nelson is Controller and Financial Analyst for Southeast Capital Partners. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1998. Mr. Nelson graduated from Florida State University in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. Hugh has worked in several industries, such as: not-for-profit, public accounting, and real estate (residential & retail). His core responsibilities include: budgeting, forecasting, controlling costs, risk and cash management, financial statements and other financial matters. Hugh also serves as the Human Resources and Risk Manager.




Joel Brockmann
Joel Brockmann (Development Partner) has developed a wide range of multifamily apartments and condominiums, including garden style, mid-rise, high-rise, and mixed use. He has led teams in a range of development activities including site acquisition, due diligence, zoning and permitting, pre-construction coordination, finance, construction management, property opening, condo sales coordination, and property disposition for a total of over $1.5B of development value. Prior to entering the development business in 1998, Joel was an architectural project manager working on large commercial projects. Joel graduated magna cum laude from Kansas State University with a major in Interior Architecture, and received his Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate from Georgia State University.




Anna Loomis
Anna M. Loomis (Development Manager) has aided in the development of a wide variety of projects, including a high-rise condominium tower, garden style apartments and condominiums, and an apartment to condominium conversion. Her responsibilities include assisting in the management of projects from conceptual design and permitting through the construction process and sell out. Prior to joining SECP in 2003, Ms. Loomis gained valuable experience from working with several design-build firms, a national general contracting firm and The Atlanta Housing Authority. Ms Loomis received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and Building Construction, as well as a Certificate in City Planning with a concentration on Land Development from Georgia Tech.




Evan C. Cramer
Evan C. Cramer (Pre-Construction Manager/Asset Manager) has been a part of the Southeast Capital Partners team since November 2004. Mr. Cramer is involved in all aspects of SECP's pre-construction efforts; ranging from site selection, feasibility analyses and market research to pro forma modeling, finance and government entitlements. As asset manager, his responsibilities also include the oversight of operations at SECP's apartment assets. He graduated from Washington and Lee University in 2001 with a BA in American History and earned a Masters of Historic Preservation from the University of Georgia in December 2005.
